Laurel Woman Rings In Rings of Cash Grand Prize

(Baltimore) – Reatha Butler has played the Maryland Lottery’s Pick 3 every day for as long as she can remember and buys scratch-offs when she has some extra cash.  She’s won a couple of thousand here and there over the years and certainly didn’t expect to win big when she purchased Rings of Cash.  Not only did Ms. Butler win big yesterday, she won the top prize of $30,000 from the $3 ticket.

Butler, a mother of two who works for the Prince George’s County School System, was visiting her brother and his family and picked up her tickets from the local convenience store she frequents when visiting the area.  She waited to scratch the ticket until she was back at her brother’s home and couldn’t believe what she saw.  “I couldn’t believe it” Butler said, “I had my niece check it over, then my nephew.”   After her family confirmed the win, she went back to the store and verified the win again.

Butler plans to pay bills and save the rest of the money for future endeavors.  She excitedly mentioned that she had already planned to host an upcoming slumber party for her friends and that the win will help make it a night to remember.

The winning ticket was purchased at Best One Food Mart located at 5908 Seat Pleasant Drive in Seat Pleasant, MD.
