Lexington Park Man Claims $50,000 Bonus Match 5 Prize
 

(Baltimore) – A St. Mary’s County man finally claimed his $50,000 winning ticket from the April 25th Bonus Match 5 drawing.  “I found  out I won right before my trip to Louisiana,” said the administrative worker.  “Every year I go back for the jazz festival.”

Knowing that he would return to a large sum of money made this year’s visit extra special. “I celebrated an early Mother’s Day with my mom,”  he said.

The avid Lottery player has been waiting for this day for a long time.  The 45-year-old relocated to Maryland from his hometown of New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. He has been playing the Maryland Lottery ever since making his home here.  He selected his own numbers, and since they won him $50,000 on Bonus Match 5, he’s now added them to his list of Mega Millions numbers.

With his prize money, the father-of-one plans to pay bills, help his family and contribute to his church.  The winning ticket was purchased at Donut Connection, located at 21800 N. Shangri La Drive in Lexington Park.
