May Showers St. Mary’s County
Woman
With $30,000 Keno Win
(Baltimore) – Yesterday morning
started off on a bad note for a St. Mary’s County woman, but by the
end of the day she was singing a different tune with a $30,000
Keno win. The 36-year-old was enjoying an evening out with her
boyfriend and decided to play a few games of Keno. She
selected a few random numbers for her first game. She then went
outside to make a phone call. When she came back in, she checked
her numbers and threw her hands up in excitement as people looked at
her in confusion. “I won,” she yelled.
“Get out!” one of the other players
there responded. “I think that has to be the biggest winner they’ve
ever had here.”
The teller checked her ticket for
confirmation and gave her the address to the Lottery claim center in
Baltimore. The fortunate woman later put her ticket into a big zip
lock bag and kept it secure in her home until the following day.
A defense contractor, originally from
Pittsburg, PA, the woman will officially celebrate her birthday on
May 12th, but feels like she’s already received her
present. With her winnings, she intends to pay bills, take a
vacation and put the rest into her savings.
