Baltimore Woman Wins Big with Big Money Bingo

$50,000 Top Prize Won

 

     (Baltimore) – Evangeline Diggs entered Lottery headquarters bubbling with joy to claim the $50,000 prize she won playing one of her
     favorite scratch-offs, Big Money Bingo. The 59-year-old was accompanied by her best friend and her daughter. Both were equally as
     giddy.

     The excited women told the story of Evangeline’s win. The lucky player, whose favorite tickets are Bingo themed, initially thought she had
     only won $500. “But then I looked at the ticket a bit longer and saw that I had an X and that’s a $50,000 win,” she said. “I think I
     stopped breathing for a moment.”  She immediately called her friends and family to share the news and to celebrate.

     Luck must run in the family because Evangeline’s daughter won $5,000 at a Pennsylvania casino on Saturday.  The retired Baltimore City
     employee is trying to sell her house so she can move into a retirement community. She intends to use some of the prize money towards the
     move and some towards a trip. She also plans to buy a crib for her first great-granddaughter. The winning ticket was purchased at Fox
     Liquors located at 1301 N. Fulton Street in Baltimore.
