Berlin Woman Wins Top-Tier Blackout Bingo Prize
Walks Away$30,000 Richer

(Baltimore) – When 62-year-old Bonnie Wooten and her husband, William, of Berlin decided to head to their favorite hangout spot, they had no idea they would leave $30,000 richer. Bonnie scratched a top-tier Blackout Bingo ticket.  

“There’s this one lady that also plays Blackout Bingo and she’s there around the same time that I am,” said Bonnie. “For some reason we had gotten there a little earlier than she did. Thank goodness we did.”

The lucky winners, who own and run the Admiral Hotel and Comfort Inn in Ocean City, told Lottery officials that they plan to head to New York to celebrate their big win.

“I’m also getting William that flat screen television he’s been wanting,” she said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Captain’s Galley on Harbor Road in Ocean City.
