Big Win Delivered to Owings Mills Bus Driver
Scratches $10,000 Instant Multi-Match Top Prize
(Baltimore) – Twice a day, every weekday, Iran Roll drives a school
bus in Howard County, delivering special needs children to and from
school. For anyone observing him this morning, it appeared to be
another typical day at work. But, while he may have appeared
outwardly calm, Iran knew that today was anything but the norm. In
his pocket, he had a Lottery ticket worth $10,000.
Early Saturday morning, Iran went to his local grocery store and
stopped by the Lottery counter on his way out. A particular
scratch-off, Instant Multi-Match, caught his eye, so he
bought a few. When he got home he proceeded to scratch his tickets.
“The numbers kept matching, one by one,” Iran told Lottery
officials. “I couldn’t quite believe my eyes so I woke up my wife,
Arlene.” She was sure that they were reading the ticket incorrectly
so she sent him back to the store to have him check it. To their
surprise and joy, their luck was confirmed.
Once the
school year is over and Iran has time off, The Rolls intend to take
a long overdue vacation with their winnings.
The
winning ticket was purchased at the Mars Supermarket at 11953
Reisterstown Road.
