December Win Leads To A Spring Celebration
Woman Wins $50,000 Playing Bonus Match 5

(Baltimore) – A Linthicum woman experienced a lot of holiday cheer winning $50,000 playing Bonus Match 5 back in December. But, it wasn’t until today that the fortunate woman brought her winning ticket to Lottery headquarters.   

The winner told officials that she plays the Lottery every day at a local gas station.  Back in December, she stopped to make her daily purchases. She bought a little bit of everything, from scratch-offs to Bonus Match 5 tickets.  She then waited a couple days to check her tickets online. Her visit to mdlotttery.com revealed that she was a winner.  “I tried not to get too excited when I found out,” she said. “Because I didn’t know exactly how much money I would be taking home.”  The 40-year-old-winner is happily married with two children.  She currently works for the Department of Defense in Ft. Meade.  “I plan to pay some bills, and take a family trip to Disney World next year with my winnings,” she said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Nursery Road BP, located at 816 Nursery Road in Linthicum.
