Instant Multi-Match Yields First Top-Prize Winner
Damascus Woman Takes Home $10,000 Prize

(Baltimore) – A Montgomery County woman and her brother have always enjoyed scratch-off tickets. Now they like them even more.  On Saturday, they were scratching their newly purchased Instant Multi-Match tickets, when a $10,000 prize was revealed. Their win is the first  top prize paid for the new Instant Multi-Match ticket.

The 36-year-old winner said she bought four Instant Multi-Match tickets and gave two to her brother to scratch. “He actually scratched the winner, but thought it was only $5,” she said. “After looking at it a second time he realized it was more.” In fact, it was a lot more. The lucky player was in disbelief and said it didn’t sink in until the $10,000 win was confirmed at a local retailer.

The mother-of-four said she will help her family with the prize money and donate some to her church. The ticket was purchased at the Weis Market located at 26075 Ridge Road in Damascus.
