Caroline County Woman Wins $10,000
Playing Congratulations! Scratch-Off

(Baltimore) – Suzan Bingel had a memorable birthday on Sunday.  She received a present that she never expected.  The Greensboro woman won a $10,000 top prize on the $2 Congratulations! scratch-off ticket. 

Suzan and her husband Richard went to Bodie’s Dairy Market to get something to eat on her way home from work. While there, she decided to purchase five Congratulations! tickets. The nurse scratched her tickets, while at the store, and won $15. Before leaving, she bought ten more tickets to scratch at home. After winning $45 on those, Suzan went back to the same store and bought ten more scratch-offs.

She won again, only this time it was the $10,000 top prize. “Once I saw a third $1,000 winning amount, I knew I had a big winner,” said the 36-year-old, who revealed ten $1,000 amounts.  When Suzan told her husband, he thought she was reading it wrong.  “I’m still amazed that she won,” her husband of almost 15 years said.

The mother-of-four plans to pay bills, go to Ocean City and celebrate her 15^th wedding anniversary with her winnings.  The winning ticket was purchased at Bodie’s Dairy Market in Greensboro.
