Bowie Man Wins $50,000

(Baltimore) – On the way to the Home and Garden Show on Saturday, a Bowie man and his wife decide to stop for some Lottery tickets. He usually plays Keno and decided to use his Keno numbers for his Bonus Match 5 ticket. That turned out to be a $50,000 winning decision.

The lucky winner said he didn’t think twice about the numbers he played. “Instead of doing a quick pick, I just transferred my Keno numbers,” he said.

The 58-year-old facility manager checked his ticket that night online. He was surprised to see he won and immediately told his wife, who didn’t believe him. She confirmed the win for herself by double checking the numbers. “It sunk in once we finally stopped shaking,” smiled the winner. Whereas some people can’t rest until they cash their ticket, surprisingly this winner said he slept like a baby all weekend.

“I’m going to pay some bills and take a vacation,” said the lucky man. The winning ticket was purchased at T & T Liquors located at 13801 Annapolis Road in Bowie.
