Baltimore Woman Wins $50,000 Bonus Match 5 Prize

(Baltimore) – A 72-year old East Baltimore woman walked out of her home yesterday with specific lottery numbers in mind and walked out of the Lottery’s Claim Center today with $50,000.  The lucky numbers were for Bonus Match 5, her favorite game, and her winnings will be for some new furniture and to help her family.

The life-long Baltimore resident has six lucky numbers that she uses for several different lottery games, but mainly for Bonus Match 5.  She watched the drawing last night with her son and recognized the winning numbers almost immediately.  “I walked in the room to see how she’d done with her lottery numbers and saw a shocked look on her face,” he told officials. 

Last night’s $50,000 Bonus Match 5 top-prize win is the second so far this month and the 20th this year.  The winning ticket was purchased at the Stop, Shop & Save store at 929 North Caroline Street in Baltimore.
