Daughter Brings Father Good Luck
$30,000 Deal or No Deal Win

(Baltimore) –Anthony Combs’ little girl is a huge fan of the television game show, Deal or No Deal.  So, when he was deciding what scratch-offs to buy, the name naturally came to mind. Now, he’s $30,000 richer and thanking his daughter for her TV choices.

Anthony and his family play Lottery at the same retailer all the time. On the day of his big win, Anthony thought he saw his mother driving towards that store and headed out to meet her there. She wasn’t there when he arrived, but he decided to cash some winnings and buy more Lottery tickets.  He picked up five Deal or No Deals, and went home to scratch the tickets. “My wife scratched the winner,” said the 32-year-old who is a fire alarm technician for Edwards Service. “It was so awesome, we just jumped for joy.”

To confirm the win, Anthony took the ticket back to the store where it was purchased.  The cashier advised him to sign the back of the ticket and instructed him how to get to Lottery Headquarters.

“We normally just play for fun,” smiled the lucky player. “I never expected to win.”  He plans to use the prize money towards bills and a vacation. The winning ticket was purchased at Goldberg’s Liquors located at 5106 Ritchie Highway in Anne Arundel County.
