Baltimore Woman Wins $50,000 Bonus Match 5 Prize

The winner said there was no method to how she chose her numbers. “I closed my eyes and dropped the pencil down each time and whatever number it landed on was the number I picked,” she said. The only number she picked on her own was six, because it is her favorite. “My birthday is on the 6^th day, I was born at 6am and I weighed 6 pounds when I was born,” chuckled the lucky winner.

The Fire and Restoration employee found out she won by checking the numbers in the paper. She then called her fiancé and her father to share her good fortune. To double check, they took the ticket to a local store to confirm it was a winner.

The 25-year-old player is getting married in November and plans to use some of the money towards her celebration.  She said she has always wanted to travel to Alaska with her father and that might be something they’ll also do. The winning ticket was purchased at the Royal Farms store located at 627 Mace Avenue in Essex.
