Bonus Match 5 is Route to Big Win for Crownsville Truck Driver
Matches All Five Numbers for $50,000 Prize

(Baltimore) – Every week, a soft-spoken Crownsville man stops into the same store, on the same day, to purchase the same amount of tickets. This week, the results were a little different. The 65-year-old hit all five Bonus Match 5 numbers, winning the $50,000 top prize. “I buy the whole gamut of Lottery tickets,” said the married-father-of-two.   “I get all random numbers, except for playing my grandson’s birthday on Pick 3.”

The man found out that he was a big winner when he stopped at a local convenience store on Wednesday and decided to check his tickets. “I scanned my $2 ticket from Sunday’s drawing and the machine gave me a printout saying, cash at Lottery,” the winner told Lottery officials.   “After I saw that, I then got a printout of the winning numbers. That’s when I realized I won the $50,000.”  Chuckling, the man added that he still has a shot at winning again, since he already has his tickets for the rest of the week.

He and his wife of 44 years intend to pay bills with the prize money.  The winning ticket was purchased at Waterbury Liquors located at 1021 Generals Highway in Crownsville.
