Baltimore Couple Wins $325,000 Playing Multi-Match
Happy Pair Claims Half of $650,000 Jackpot

(Baltimore) – An elated Baltimore couple said that something just told them to play Multi-Match on Saturday. Married for 13 years, the husband and wife share a love of many Lottery games.  On that day, the 56-year-old mother-of-seven gave her husband a couple of dollars and told him to pick up a Multi-Match ticket. He went to a nearby store and bought one ticket with three plays. The next day, the retired truck driver returned to the store to buy Pick 3 tickets and decided to check his Multi-Match.

“I scanned it on the machine and it said pay at Lottery,” said the 54-year-old. After asking the clerk for a printout, he realized that he matched all six numbers.  “I jumped in my truck and drove back to the house with tears in my eyes,” he said. “I just couldn’t wait to tell my wife.”  His spouse, a Johns Hopkins University employee, said that her husband was crying and hollering and that not until her son looked at the ticket and confirmed the win, did she believe it.

The lucky twosome wasn’t the only top-tier winner from Saturday’s $650,000 Multi-Match drawing. The other winning ticket was bought at Hi-Way Liquors, located at 6915 Baltimore National Pike in Frederick.  Since there were two winning tickets, each is worth $325,000.  The couple chose the $162,000 cash option, which will be used to help their seven children and 23 grandkids. They may also take a vacation.

The winning ticket was purchased at Eagle Mart, located at 3101 Pulaski Highway in Baltimore.
