Ocean City Man Caps Off Winning Streak
with $50,000 Bonus Match 5 Prize

(Baltimore) – The weekend proved very profitable for Raymond Bartole. The Super Fresh employee began his winning streak on Saturday night when he won $30 on Bonus Match 5 and then another $20 playing Multi-Match scratch-offs. Sunday, he purchased a few more scratch-offs and won yet another $85. Consequently, when he was ready to leave work for the day, he figured he’d played enough and nearly went home empty handed. “At the last minute I decided to buy a Bonus Match 5 ticket,” said Raymond. “I bought a $6 ticket and picked the first three lines. The last six, I did a Quick-Pick. It was the first Quick-Pick line that was the winner.”

The 51-year-old, who originally hails from New Jersey, didn’t find out that he’d won until later that night when he checked the Lottery’s website. “I looked at the ticket and saw that I’d matched four numbers and was really excited about winning $600. When I saw the fifth match, I was like, oh my gosh, that’s $50,000.”

Raymond intends to pay off all his bills and put the rest of the money in the bank. He and his friend, who drove with him from the beach, also planned to enjoy a good dinner on the way home.

The winning ticket was purchased at Super Fresh on 94th St. in Ocean City.
