Dundalk Student Gets “Lucky” With the Lottery
Lucky Lines Scratch-off Yields $30,000 Win

(Baltimore) – Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and loved ones are scrambling to find that special gift. 18-year-old Sierra Smith’s gift from her boyfriend Tom came early when he bought her a Lucky Lines $30,000  top-prize winning scratch-off ticket. 

The 18-year-old Dundalk High School student told Lottery officials that she was “shaking with excitement” when she realized she won.  Sierra immediately told her boyfriend and best friend. “Tom and I play scratch-offs all the time and the most I won was $75 until now,” the winner said. 

Sierra plans to use the money to move in with Tom, a union carpenter; get their cars repaired; and share with family.  She works at Shoppers Food Warehouse in the Dundalk area.    The couple hopes to marry someday.

The winning ticket was purchased at New Foodway, located at 1501 Broening Highway in Baltimore.
