Delaware Couple Wins $250,000 Mega Millions Prize
Winning Ticket from November 20^th Drawing

(Baltimore) – A couple from Hartly, Delaware claimed their $250,000second-tier Mega Millions prize today, at Maryland Lottery headquarters.  They bought the winning Quick Pick ticket on November 20^th at Walkers Store on Henderson Road in Marydel.

“On Thanksgiving afternoon I checked my Mega Millions ticket on the website,” said the husband, a Delaware state employee.  When he saw one of the lines matched all winning numbers except for the Mega Ball, he ran to share the news with his wife.  “I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “It still doesn’t feel real.” 

The winners have two children, who received a little bit extra this Christmas.  With the rest of their winnings, the couple will pay off the mortgage and save money for retirement and college tuition.

Walker’s Store also recently sold a $25,000 Instant Keno scratch-off ticket.  That winner, Federico Reynoso Tomas, claimed his prize on Monday.
